Request For Bids Sherriff’s Office Roof Replacement

The Mason County Fiscal Court is requesting bids from qualified individuals or firms for roof repair/replacement for the Mason County Sherriff’s Office located at 120 W. Third Street, Maysville KY 41056.  The bid shall include removal of current roof’s shingles, repairing any damages to underlaying boards/wood and replacement with an appropriate shingle and protective barrier.  The full request with specifications and site inspection dates are available at www.masoncountykentucky.us or by calling 606-564-6706 and asking for Nathan H Truesdell.

All Bids shall be received at the Mason County Fiscal Court at 221 Stanley Reed Court St; Maysville, KY 41056, until 2:00 pm Eastern Time, Friday, May 20, 2022, when bids will be opened, and read aloud publicly.  All bids shall be place in a sealed envelope, with the project name “Sheriff’s Office Roof Replacement” and should be to the attention of Nathan H Truesdell, Executive Assistant.  Bidders name and address should be clearly labeled as well. If packages are mailed, please ensure delivery will be prior to deadline.  

A pre-bid meeting and inspection for all willing to provide a bid will be held at the Mason County Sherriff’s Office, on Friday, May 13, 2022, at 10:00 am. Bidders are welcome to attend, but it is not mandatory.  This meeting will consist of bidders walking the premise and collecting any measurements necessary for the bid proposal.

The Mason County Fiscal Court reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for sixty (60) days after the time set for opening bids.
