The Mason County Sheriff's Office strives to maintain the highest standards of excellence utilizing training and technology to create a safe environment for the citizens of Mason County and the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Office MISSION
The Mason County Sheriff's Office will strive to fulfill the Duties and Responsibilities of the Sheriff's office through service, integrity, and professionalism. The Sheriff's Office will promote public safety utilizing partnerships to:
A.) Prevent, reduce, and deter crime and the fear of crime;
B.) Enhance highway safety through education and enforcement and
C.) Safeguard property and protect individual rights. The Mason County Sheriff and his Deputies are duly sworn law enforcement officers in the Commonwealth of Kentucky authorized for arrest powers.
The Mason County Sheriff's Personnel shall enforce all local, state, and federal laws utilizing these powers.

Request for Proposal
The Mason County Fiscal Court is hereby accepting sealed bids/proposals for one new Sheriff's vehicle. Sealed bids/proposals shall be accepted until 2:00 p.m., prevailing time, on May30th, 2017 at the office of the Mason County Judge/Executive, Joseph P. Pfeffer, located at 221 Stanley Reed Court Street Maysville, Kentucky 41056. The Fiscal Court reserves the right to waiver any and all formalities in bidding. Further the Fiscal Court specifically reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to accept any bid, whether or not the lowest price, that in its sole discretion deems to be in the best interest of sound fiscal management of the county. Mason County specifically reserves the right to require such bonds, insurance agreements, warranties, or other covenants that in its sole discretion deems necessary. All bidders shall take notice that materials may be required to be billed to Mason County Fiscal Court.

No Bidder may withdraw their Bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
