Advertisement for Request for Proposal
  • The Mason County Fiscal Court is hereby accepting sealed bids/proposals to Paint the exterior surfaces and roof of the Old Courthouse located at 219 Stanley Reed Court Street.
    Sealed bids/proposals shall be accepted until 2:00 p.m., prevailing time, on June 6th, 2017 at the office of the Mason County Judge/Executive, Joseph P. Pfeffer, located at 221 Stanley Reed Court Street Maysville, Kentucky 41056. Sealed bids/proposals will be opened on June 6th, 2017 at 2:00p.m. Painting specifications are listed below and for any further questions please contact, Deputy Judge/Executive Richard Newberry at the Mason County Judge Executive Office (606) 564-6706.

    The Fiscal Court reserves the right to waiver any and all formalities in bidding. Further the Fiscal Court specifically reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to accept any bid, whether or not the lowest price, that in its sole discretion deems to be in the best interest of sound fiscal management of the county. Mason County specifically reserves the right to require such bonds, insurance agreements, warranties, or other covenants that in its sole discretion deems necessary. All bidders shall take notice that materials may be required to be billed to Mason County Fiscal Court.

    No Bidder may withdraw their Bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

  • Separate sealed bids for the installation of the Maysville-Mason County Landfill Phase 4/5 Geocomposite Drainage Net, for the Mason County Fiscal Court, will be received by Joseph P. Pfeffer, Mason County Judge Executive, at the Mason County Courthouse, 221 Court Street, Maysville, Kentucky until 2:00 P.M. local time, May 19, 2017 and then at said location publicly opened and read aloud.

    Each bidder must deposit with their bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the information for Bidders.

Conflicts of interest, gratuities and kickbacks are defined in KRS 45A.445 and as provided for in KRS 45A.445 are absolutely prohibited.
No bidder may withdraw his/her bid for 90 days after the date the bids are opened. Any bid received after the time specified shall not be considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder.
Mason County reserves the right to waive any informality and may reject any and all bids. Mason County reserves the right to award bid based upon availability, service and in the best interest for the public safety for the citizens of the County. Mason Fiscal Court reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Mason County does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, religion, sex or disability.
